This Privacy Policy explains how REDLINE (“REDLINE”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the REDLINE mobile application and website at redlineapp.support (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and profile identifier from that provider so we can create and secure your account. We do not receive or store your Google or Apple password.
Location and drive data
To measure your drives, the app collects GPS location, speed, acceleration and motion-sensor data while a drive is being recorded. This produces your trip statistics (distance, top speed, 0–100 time, G-force and route). Location is used only for the tracking features you start.
Content you create
Vehicles you add, drives you record, photos you upload and cards you generate are stored so the Service can show them back to you and, where you choose, on leaderboards under your username.
Usage & device data
We collect basic, aggregated analytics (for example screen views, session length and feature usage) and technical data (app version, device model, operating system) to keep the Service working and improve it. Our analytics events do not include your precise GPS coordinates or other directly identifying personal data.
2. How we use information
- To provide core features — recording drives, computing statistics and showing leaderboards;
- To create, authenticate and secure your account;
- To operate optional subscriptions (REDLINE PRO / PRO+);
- To understand usage and improve performance and reliability;
- To communicate with you about the Service and respond to support requests.
3. Google user data & Limited Use
REDLINE's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google sign-in solely to authenticate you and populate your basic profile. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it or transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the Service or as required by law.
4. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract — for example our hosting and database provider (Supabase) and infrastructure providers;
- Other users, but only your public username, chosen vehicle label and the statistics you choose to place on a leaderboard;
- Authorities, where required by applicable law or to protect our rights and users' safety.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and drive data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual drives in the app, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact).
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections and access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.
7. Your rights & choices
- Access, correct or delete your data, and request a copy of it;
- Turn off location by revoking the permission in your device settings (drive recording will be unavailable);
- Opt out of in-app analytics via the settings toggle in the app;
- Delete your account, which removes your associated personal data.
8. Children
REDLINE is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. International users
Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the app.
